The venue address is 5265 Putah Creek Road, Winters, California. See below for a map.

The farm is located about 70 miles northeast of San Francisco, near the town of Winters. We encourage carpooling! Carpools can be coordinated by going to RideShare, use event code: walnutwedding.

Directions from the Bay Area:

  1. Take I-80 E toward Sacramento (50-60 miles, depending on your start point)
  2. Merge onto I-505 N toward Winters/Redding (10.5 miles)
  3. Take the exit toward Putah Creek Road (0.1 miles)
  4. Turn Left onto Gaddini Road (0.2 miles)
  5. Turn Right onto Putah Creek Road (2.2 miles)

The closest airport is Sacramento, though out-of-town guests may prefer to fly into Oakland or San Francisco for an opportunity to visit the Bay Area, and/or better flexibility.

There are no accommodations in the town of Winters. Nearby lodging is available 20 minutes away in the agricultural community of Vacaville (15 freeway miles) and the university town of Davis (12 back roads miles).

Our block of rooms at the Vacaville Residence Inn by Marriott is now expired, but you can still book a room directly on their site, or by calling 1-800-331-3131.

We can also suggest the Comfort Suites Vacaville as another affordable choice.

We will provide shuttle service between Vacaville and the wedding site. Going to the wedding, shuttles will leave each of the above mentioned hotels at approximately 3:30 pm. Shuttles will depart the wedding beginning at approximately 9:00 pm, and again at 10:30.

Please let us know if you are interested in shuttle service so we can plan accordingly. Email us at walnutwedding@yahoo.com and let us know which hotel you are staying at, and how many people are in your group.

The venue, hotel, and nearby airports are on the map below. The green icon indicates the farm, purple is the hotel, and red marks the airports.

Spring weather is usually pleasant, but can be hard to predict. On May 1st the average high is 75 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low, 50. Rain is possible but unlikely and we have a rain plan if necessary.

This is a special event, but it is also a farm. We hope all attendees will find an appropriate outfit that suits them. We recommend dressing comfortably and in layers, somewhere between Casual Friday and Easter Sunday.

Be aware that even if the wedding day is dry, you may encounter water or mud as you explore the grounds. Most of the walking surfaces are grass or gravel, so please plan your footwear accordingly. Spike heels are not a good idea, nor are shoes that cannot get wet.

Due to severe allergic reactions, we ask that you please refrain from wearing perfumes or other fragrances to our wedding. Thank you.
