SPRINGING FORWARD

spring
Our wedding falls on the first of May, a time of birth and renewal. We are happy to be having our wedding amongst newly blooming plants, singing birds, and warmer temperatures.

However, Spring weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers. The average high is 75 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low, 50. Rain is a small possibility, so please keep that in mind.

MAYDAY MAYDAY

maypoleYou may have noticed that we are getting married on May Day! In many Northern European cultures, the first of May is celebrated with flowers, merriment, dancing, and bonfires. We hope our wedding will satisfy all of your cravings for such pagan delights.

May Day is also known as the International Worker's Day, traditionally celebrated by labor, especially in communist countries. Considering we met and fell in love at our workplace, this seems especially appropriate.
